Friday 24th April | 6pm - 8pm
Enjoy a relaxed and sociable cocktail-making experience at The Bistro at The Courthouse on the Causeway Coast. In this hands-on class, you’ll shake, stir, and sip your way through three delicious cocktails using premium local spirits distilled within five miles of Bushmills. Guided by the Bistro team, you’ll learn two essential bartender techniques — the stir method and the shake method — before creating your own freestyle cocktail tailored to your taste.
You’ll make an Atlantic Negroni using Paula McIntyre’s Gin and a classic Bushmills Whiskey Sour using Bushmills Whiskey, learning the balance and ratios behind great cocktails along the way. The session finishes with a creative round where you can experiment with bitters, herbs, sodas, and a selection of spirits from local distillers including Dunluce Distillery, Basalt Distillery, and Glens of Antrim Distillery.
The experience also includes a generous charcuterie and cheese sharing platter served with freshly baked breads from The Bistro at The Courthouse, making it the perfect social activity for couples, friends, and groups. Guests will also receive a simple cocktail ratio cheat sheet to take home so you can recreate the drinks yourself.
Whether you're a beginner or a curious cocktail lover, this fun and interactive class is a great way to discover local flavours and learn skills you can use again and again.
