Even though The Courthouse is built and ready, we are anything but finished. We are determined to keep reaching into the community, offering courses, events and workshop spaces free of charge to local groups. We are a community recharged, we are The Courthouse, Bushmills.

Three people working together in a garden, using shovels to fill wheelbarrows with soil, surrounded by green plants, trees, and flowering bushes on a sunny day.

The Courthouse, Bushmills is lucky to have two experienced Outreach Heritage Officers, Lisa and Rebekah who have one clear job - to connect people and communities with our local heritage.

By giving people the opportunity to learn, develop new skills and explore heritage, we are giving them the chance to meet new people - making the most of the present while also protecting the past.

From running workshops in traditional crafts like woodworking or traditional baking, to encouraging  locals to try fused glass art or perfect their skill at storytelling, if you are part of a local community group, we want to hear from you.
