Capture one of Northern Ireland's most iconic coastal landscapes in this inspiring palette knife painting workshop with artist Maud McArthur.

Over this two-hour hands-on session, you'll learn how to use palette knife techniques to create a richly textured painting inspired by the dramatic scenery of Mussenden Temple and Benone Beach. Guided step by step, you'll explore impasto painting methods, building layers of colour, movement, and light to recreate sweeping sands, tidal pools, rugged cliffs, and expansive skies.

Whether you're completely new to palette knife painting or looking to develop your artistic skills, this workshop encourages a loose, expressive style while helping you gain confidence with texture and composition.

By the end of the session, you'll leave with your own striking contemporary seascape and new techniques to continue your painting journey.
