Join Katy Bustard on Saturday 5th July from 2.00pm - 4.30pm and step back in time, steeped in music, story and tradition, at the historic old Courthouse Bushmills with the enchanting sound of the Irish harp. Experience the ancient tradition of Irish harping on a custom-made mini harp. Enjoy stories and music of the past with local harper, teacher and founder of Causeway Harp School, Katy Bustard.
Experience the ancient aural tradition of Irish Harping; its special connection with Belfast and the surprising stories of how the music came to be preserved to this day.
Learn basic harp playing technique and enjoy playing a traditional Irish Harp tune together in ensemble. Feel uplifted and energised by the magical sound of ten harps playing together!

Join Sean and Trudy Brolly for a hands-on Sourdough Cookery Class at Bistro at The Courthouse on Wednesday 2nd July from 5pm - 7.30pm and discover the art of creating delicious homemade sourdough bread. In this 2.5-hour class, you’ll learn how to nurture your own sourdough starter and bake a beautiful loaf from scratch.
At the end of the class, you’ll take home your own starter, a wicker proving basket, your freshly crafted loaf to bake, and a detailed recipe to continue your sourdough journey at home. You’ll also enjoy a Welcome Breadboard with our in-house baked sourdough and local dips, plus a glass of Cava to make the experience even more special.

Throughout the session, Dr. Koh will demonstrate traditional techniques and flavour pairings, from fish and crisp vegetables, to tofu, kimchi, and savoury dipping sauces. A warming miso soup will round off the experience and complement the flavours of your handmade rolls.

Kids Crafting: Spring Stamping with The Heritage Outreach Programme
Join Lisa and Rebekah on Saturday 5th April from 11.30am - 12.30pm for a fun, hands-on Stamp-Making Workshop where kids can get creative and make their own unique stamps! Inspired by the rich heritage of Northern Ireland and Ireland, this workshop offers a wonderful opportunity for children to explore the world of stamps and take part in a variety of stamp-based activities.
Children, aged 4-11, will have the chance to create their own personal stamps and dive into exciting stamping projects. Whether it's for crafting, decorating, or simply having fun, the workshop encourages creativity and learning in a relaxed, friendly environment.
This workshop is free and open to all children aged 4-11. Please note that a guardian must remain with the child throughout the session.
