Join us for a hands-on culinary Korean and Japanese Seaweed Roll workshop that blends the elegance of Japanese maki with the colourful vibrancy of Korean kimbap. Guided by the talented Dr. HyoJin Koh, you’ll explore the art of seaweed roll-making using a range of beautifully fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Throughout the session, Dr. Koh will demonstrate traditional techniques and flavour pairings, from fish and crisp vegetables, to tofu, kimchi, and savoury dipping sauces. A warming miso soup will round off the experience and complement the flavours of your handmade rolls.
Then it’s your turn—roll up your sleeves and create your own kimbap and maki to take home and enjoy.
Whether you're a complete beginner or an enthusiastic home cook, this is a relaxed, joyful session designed to inspire confidence and creativity in the kitchen.
